They are a little expensive, around $30 each, but they both come with DVDs, and some other goodies. I think the US printed book is a re-print of the first I am Maru book. I am more interested in his new Japanese book however...

for those of you asking about the book…. So basically, if you are from Japan/can understand Japanese there are a couple Maru books already out (and a DVD!) that are solely in Japanese. You can get info about those on the left sidebar of maru’s blog but if you’re from US, UK, Canada, or Australia, Maru’s owner released a book in english all about Maru called I Am Maru ...

Anonymous asked: There are tons and tons of cats as cute and loveable as Maru in animal shelters all over the world. The adult ones especially are hard to find homes for because so many people want kittens or a special breed like the previous asker, so most of them sadly get put to death. :( If Maru-lovers want to get a kitty, I hope they will first check out their local shelters and cat rescue organization first....
